the thing is with this stuff is that it only repels water-based substances. any dry shit like dirt or oil-based etc. so once it gets dirty good luck washing it...

and id like to know how well this stuff sticks to the surface

ih my god that is amazing. the wetsuit industry will die when people can just surf in thei clothes with this shit on it
 
Rain-X is the greatest thing ever. It can be pissing rain or wet snow, and you can still see fine. I found it impossible to wash my windshield though with a squeegee
 
you do realize that wetsuits don't keep you dry, they just insulate you...

surfing in waterproof clothes would provide no insulation at all.
 
Well obviously the technology isnt new but being able to apply it on anything you want, rather than having to buy a "DWR coated soft shell" to get a waterproof jacket, you could just spray it on a hoodie. Also, using it on electronics, sure you could buy a waterproof case but they are normally way to bulky.
 
Pretty sure T-Wall has been doing prototype testing for their hover skis for a few years now. Good thought, you're just a little too late.
 
Don't think it would work on electronics. What happens with electronics is that the liquid gets onto the board and creates shorts through out the board. Simply spraying that on wouldn't waterproof it.

Ill take it you didnt watch the videos posted above... They spray it on a calculator and submerge it, works fine, then they spray it only on the outside of an iphone, not the board or anything, and it worked fine aswell.
 
1. spray on paper towel/towel

2. wipe up mess with said towel

3. unlimited use for towel

4. mass produce and sell

I have only watched the first video. And after I posted, I thought more of what I had said, and I guess it didn't make sense. Well....I sure showed me
 
if i put this on a full body wet suit then jumped into a lake or pool would i shoot out of it? also if you put enough of it on your skis/body you would never crash-hence triples of 5 foot kickers
 
sorry i realize i wasnt clear.....so if you put enough of this on you and your skis you will hover over the snow, and if you never touch the snow you never really fall
 
But then rappers wouldn't have to buy a new pair of air force 1s every day. I see the shoe industry killing this off before it kills off their business.

The cool thing is when you got out you'd be dry. really sick if you sprayed it in your hair!
