higgins beach does get good surf but if you knew anything about surfing you'd know the conditions need to be right for any beach.
on a side note, just got to portland, we got some good bars and shit go get some drinks and meet some people. Or just go skate around or ride bikes or something.
Hit up salmon falls wednesday when the rain is supposed to break. Its a nice rope swing/cliff/bridge jumping spot on the saco river about 30mins north of you. Its on the Buxton/Hollis line where rte 4 crosses the river. Start at the bridge and walk downstream for the 5 or so rope swings along a quarter mile stretch.
Kennebunk/Kennebunkport has absolutely nothing to do at night or in rainy weather except walk around if you are under 21 haha... Yeah, it's a bunch of crap right now because it's rainy. I'm in Kennebunk. Go to Portland or something. If it's nice while you're still here, go to Sebago Lake.
Do some hiking, some swimming, some sailing, some seafood eating, some fishing, some hanging out at the beach, and some kayaking or water skiing or wakeboarding or any water sport of choice. There are tons of beautiful spots all over Maine... north, south, or west (can't really go more east or you'll be swimming)
