Main Skiers: Sunday River vs. Sugarloaf

its worth it for both... theyre really different mountains both have really sick things about them... you probobly wont regret it

I'd get the combo if I were you....unless you live significantly closer to 1 or the other, then just get the pass for the closest one.

yeh the riv/loaf pass is only 90 dollars more than just a single mtn pass get the combo

sunday river is obviously the best choice but if both are of equal distance go for the combo, otherwise if SR is your choice, fuck the loaf, always cooolldd and windy, plus willy skis there so it makes it that much gayer. jk willy, your good at skiing, and you look good on the camera.

river = use to be da place to be, but kinda same with sugarloaf to, i dunno im disappointed every year at both

the combo pass is only like 2 tickets worth extra i think at least for 13-18 so if your gonna go more than twice get the combo

get loon included on that pass and you can shred the best park on the east, but sunday river is legit i used to ski there for many a year and theres lots of fun stuff. sugarloaf is cold

skiing is cold.

you should also check out saddleback, its super core and probably my favorite east coast mtn.

Yeah like Willy said, both are going slowly down the drain, but whatevs. SR has a decent jib park, jumps are pretty bad haha. Nonetheless, its a fun place for a weekend shred. If its between the two, just get the combo pass.. the student pass combo is almost the same exact price for just one mountain, so you might as well get too. If you can afford the pass with all three (sunday, sugarloaf, and loon) I suggest you do so.. All in all, none of the mountains are boring to say the least. The park can get old, but its better than nothing.

this kid is from SR. try and find someone as good from the loaf.

rockin' collegiate life. Its hard to post on NS when you're playing online poker 8 hours a day.

Sunday River and Sugarloaf are both very different resorts. Each has specific advantages and disadvantages. You should ski them both, multiple times so you can come to your own conclusion.

Fair warning, I worked in marketing at Sunday River for MANY years. However, I also would ski Sugarloaf.

Sugarloaf byy far and yea they have tons more rippers than the loaf . the loaf fired their park crew and got some top guys to redo the park layout, it's gonna be illin'

dude matt pothier sucks dick at skiing and i hear some gay kid named jeremie skis at sugarloaf so theyre both gay dont buy either

bitch please. SR is full of gapers and bad skiers. sugarloaf has more vertical and challenging terrain as well. the loaf is a real skier's mountain.

i wouldnt go that far... the loaf might be windy but that doesnt mean it isnt a sick mtn that has produced some of the best freeskiers out there. heat harvest makes SR look like a park haven but rocking chair has gone way downhill in the last few years, and without a kickass park they've got nothing on a 4,200 foot mtn with legit vertical. to the thread creator...get the combo

yeah ive noticed how SR has real good jibs, and shitty jump lines, but the loaf has real good jumps and decent jibs... its a delima that can probably only e solvd by an extra 90 bucks

Sunday River by far I dont knoww why every one is hating on sr's jump line. Hip to 30 footer to 50 foot stepdown or hip option. Or the right side of rocking chair which was alright.
