you'd be better off with a little more tame ski....i ahve the BC's and i ski them all over the place and i love them...they arnt SUPER wide, but thy're wide enough to hld theyre own...youd be better off with something like this.....like 120-125 mm tips

 
what would you be doing on your 4 trips outwest anyways? would you heli? or would you just go to resorts. and how far out west are you going?

 
hitting the parks and skiing out of bounds and shit, im prob gonna hit up PC, steamboat, copper or aspen and whistler(2 xs a year)

if you were going up to AK- get the maidens. but since you are just hittin up the resorts get something more realistic like pistols or something with a 90 mm or so waist. maidens are just too fat for that kind of shit

 
get them for park. but mount them at like +9 or above. or else you will regret your decision. they may be a bit much at first, but ride them daily, and get used to them...then when it comes comp time, you can slay on them, or go to a smaller ski and realize riding madens makes cross country skis easy...

^^he also skis pow more than 4 times a year......im just saying that it doesnt make a whole lot fo sense......it's like getting a diesel truck so you can pull your skis on a trailer....overkill man

 
Id say no Maidens, those things are like 100 mm waist, rediculous. If I were you, I'd go with a ski that has bc capabilities but still is comfortable in park/etc. Go 4frnts, ARVs, PE's, but i wouldnt go over 90 mm waist.

 
25 days? I got that in about 2 months of skiing/full time school before blowing my knee out. 25 days ain't shit.

get skis apropriate for your skiing ability and terrain - for you i suggest the Faggots R US in a 122, they're reeley just two skateboards with bindings, but they won't get stuck in the dirt in Atlanta that you call snow
