Magnus 102 VS Frankenski

I have been doing my research on rockered park skis, and was hoping I could get opinions on which one feels more playful, and which one is more durable. I will be sliding a ton of rails, but I can't find any recent reviews of the Frankenski, and I want this ski to last a while. Btw I am 6' and about 160 lbs, idk if that changes anything except the sizing tho.

Had the frankenskis. Loved them. Tough ass skis. They may finally be retired this season after 4 years.

really? thanks! a single skiier at our indoor resort is the reason I want them, he nollies EVERYTHING and just has the smoothest style. Guessing its more the skier than the ski, but damn he makes them look good.

never skied them, but the guys on them are definetly the best skiers here. Only guys not on them seems to be sponsored skiers :p

Is it strictly for park use? If so i would probably say frankenski just because it’s symmetrical and will have a true centre mount. If you are going to use them for all mtn at all i would probably lean towards mangus. Frankneski sounds so sick and definitely my dream park ski so i would go for it.

Currently on the frankenski and damn they are probably my favorite skis. Playful, buttery but not super buttery, and hella light weight. I’ve had the magnus 102 and they are much stiffer than people make them look you really gotta use your body to move them around if your going with magnus I would go with the magnus 90 or whatever the smaller one is.

I would say about 70/30 park / all mountain, and I live out east and spend a lot of my days at Tremblant, the iciest hill I have ever skied at

Thanks! How does the Frankenski handle on ice?

Then i would definitely say the frankenski. If your not going to be in any kind of soft snow. Even then its a pretty wide ski so i think thats a safe choice.

ha. mangus

Tremblant was the only place I’ve ever had to stop skiing mid day and thaw my toes out in the lodge... and I’ve been skiing in Finland this season so that’s saying something
