Magnus 102 171 or 176

Im around 5'11" and I use the 176s so its really up to you whether you want something longer or shorter. It also depends on if youll grow a significant amount in the next few years so you dont want to end up with skis that are too short

What length skis are you currently on?

176. Lots of rocker so they ski short. You’ll barely notice the extra length.

Depending on what ski you are switching from, You will definitely notice it if you do what I did and go from a 161 to a 176. (it was a good thing. I really needed the longer ski for my type--went from Jessie 161 to Magnus 90 176. It took a couple days to get used to it)

I'm 5'10" and ride the 181 cm M102s. I was nervous about them being too long but feel like I adjusted pretty easily. I wouldn't be scared of a little extra length, better than too short in my opinion

I am 172cm and I ride 176cm mags 102.

171 = mostly park, small/medium jumps and rails.

176 = 50/50 park & allmountain, big jumps and speed.

Go with 176 if you want a more stable ski for speed and power. 171 will be amazing for street n cruising park hitting small features.

The past 2 seasons I used 157 volkl revolt 95’s. They’re short now, not much rocker, especially compared to on3p’s

sizing up by almost 20cm will feel VERY different. Whats your skill level? if youre able to ski aggressively and be very comfortable on every feature in your park then the size up to 176 will do you a solid

Personally I like a ski a couple cm longer than I am tall. Especially something with as much rocker as an ON3P.

I’m 183cm (6’) and I rode Jeff 96s this season in 181 as my local resort ski and Kartel 108s in 186 - beyond the obvious difference in skis themselves I found myself still wanting to reach for the beefier sticks for their stability. 181s just felt a hair short (probably accentuated by the detune underfoot). I’ll be upgrading the 181s to 186s for the coming season for that little boost in stability and edge length.

In the park though the 181s were super light and easy to whip around. Realized I didn’t need that as I’m just not a super tech park skier, and would happily trade off some of that snappiness for being able to send sketchy side hits without worrying if the landing is chopped garbage.

I imagine you can happily make either length work so you’ll have to make that call yourself depending on where you see yourself riding and what trade-offs you’re willing to make for other things.
