So i just started playing magic the gathering and i want to know some stradigies and good deck combinations, so far i bought a blue red deck but i'm thinking of making a black and red deck and then either a blue and green deck or a blue and white deck. What do you guys think i should do

The best way is to build the ultimate deck by combining every color. Also if you torture the people you are going to play against before you play them and force them to let you win the game you will never ever lose a game and therefor you will become the greatest magic the gathering player in the world or maybe even in the universe.

source: I have never lost a game.

I have also never played a game.

I bought a rooster, from a local farm, to make all of my card choices for me. Nothing like some good old fashioned cock magic.

Good luck kiddo. I would suggest trying to give yourself papercuts with them all. Remember, up the tracks not across.

This is solid advice. Cock magic is definitely the way to go. If your cock needs help in deck selection, a safe bet is to purchase two of each of the Power 9 and a triple set of dual lands. After you sell your parents' house to finance this purchase, you will win all of the hot MTG girls. Oh, wait, there aren't any. There is plenty of cock magic though.

I played a little bit back when I was in junior high.

I still have all my cards laying around somewhere.

just from how many poker players play or used to play.

It's absurd how often Magic comes up at the poker table. And it doesn't really matter where, from small local casinos to a larger Vegas poker room.

Anywho, Magic is great nerd fun. I used to do some drafts but kind of stopped because the siege of nerds was a bit much. I still cube with only the finest cards with friends quite often. Love me a good ol fashioned artifact deck.

I used to play a bit of magic growing up. Never got really super into it. However back in 2013 I started buying some booster packs again just cause I remember how stoked I used to get back in the day getting holographic cards(for pokemon and I knew the new ones had some holographic cards which I was more interested in seeing how they did them in comparison to pokemon). I would only buy them for the nostalgic stoke and sell all the cards that were worth something(Never was one of those people who dropped $300 on cards however I have been in stores when people have done it. I watched a couple break up in the store over the guy in the relationship spending $300+ for one purchase. Guy tried to justify it because he used to drink a lot and was like its either $300+ on magic or $300+ on booze).

Recently I just got back into playing the game digitally. I've been playing the Magic 2015 app on my tablet and it's pretty fun(call me a nerd all you want). I like it cause it's a really complex game and pretty much the ultimate strategy/luck game of cards(I've turned it into a drinking game on a few occasions with friends).

What I have had some really good luck using is a good mix of green and white. I like me some good populate cards mixed with some power up enchantments.

I know some people might give me some flak for it, but I don't even care. I just find it fun to do every now and then.

You're probably playing standard if you just started. I'd recommend using a UR Counter-burn deck to start. Not quite sure what exactly is in the standard rotation at the moment, but I'd recommend using cards like goblin electromancer and particularly guttersnipe, then loading up the rest of your deck with Instants that do direct damage, and sorcery control cards to counter your opponents cards.

make a white and gold deck bro. your opponents will see it as black and blue and mistakenly use the wrong strategy to defeat you

The only guy I know who plays magic is a way better skier than me, maybe I should start playing...
