Was going to post this in Regionals, but since that part of the website gets little to no traffic these days I figured this would be my best bet.

Thinking of making the trip up to Magic on Thursday for their $29 lift ticket special. I was wondering if any NSers have skied there at all this year and can speak to how the conditions are currently? I know that Southern VT has gotten a decent amount of snow these past two weeks - are the glades skiable or will I emerge with millions of core shots? Sorry for the vast majority of you who probably have never even heard of this place. Just posting this on the hunch that one of the Southern VT locals can give me the inside scoop.

I havent ridden at Magic yet this year but I have ridden at okemo and the cover is good but woods would be a little sketchy. I rode on the day we got hammered with snow and although there is a lot of snow there is not bas so you could be riding on rocks or get you tips caught on branches
 
Been riding at stratton and okemo and live on magic, havent made it up yet but the trees arent really ready anywhere around it so safe bet is the glades arent ready

bumping...thinking about getting the night pass. place seems like it's going to be legit with them moving park to tubing hill. Anybody shred here?

Seems way to expensive for what you get. Place is absolutely epic don't get me wrong but for whats to offer its more worth a season pass for the extra 150.
