Magic lantern?

Has anyone had any experiences with the magic lantern software? I heard it's good and I was thinking about putting on my canon t2i but I shit my pants every time I think about the risks of it.

I know there was already a thread on this at one point but no one really talked about the risks of it, like bricking your camera or something.

no problems with my t5i, the nightly builds are fairly stable but expect a few glitches and read the instructions carefully when installing

i've heard its really complicated to install, anyone have the spark notes on how to do it or anything to watch out for?

I've had it on both my old T3i, and now my 5dmk3 without any issues to speak of.

According to this guy the only way to damage it is improper installation or taking the card or battery out while the camera's still on. About to give it a go i think.

pretty simple to install and really cool to work with once you learn how to use the many features. Go for it!

Super easy install if you know how to read. Just take 15 minutes to do it right and you'll be very stoked. The amount of features you unlock is so awesome and gives you a lot more control over how you capture.
