Im looking for a bigger powder ski this year. I'm lookin at either the new Armada ARV's or the SEth Pistols. I already have a smaller jib ski so I want something a bigger. I'm even thinking about going huge and getting the new Made'n AK's. Has anyone skied on these yet. If so how do they ski out of the powder on the rest of the mountain? They seem like a dope ski.

i would love them but iv only ever skied powder once and there is no deep snow forcasted for the UK any time soon. I might get em anyway coz you will look like a right badass with them.

Why would you buy skis just to 'look badass with them'? That's dumb. Get the ski that meets your needs, not the one that you think looks coolest. That's for dumb 13 year olds who wanna look cool and don't know shit.

yeah i'd just go with ARV's, or maybe 4frnt MSP's.....plenty of girth there

I saaw them in a shop today, they're really wide. You should only get them if you ski powder most of the time. I wonder if anyone here in PA will actually buy the pair in the shop....

 
ima try to get a pair this year they are super sick prob not so great for anything but pow

I just bought some Made'n AKs and am wondering where people think the best place to mount them will be? 179s and mostly for pow and BC kickers I am 5'11'' ski in Colorado mainly +1,2,3?

 
i demoed them last year they were so sick. they absolutely crushed everything i put in front of them. not that bad on the groomed if youre used to a somewhat fat ski already. alright in the park, but they were so wide i could feel the wind resistance on them. terrible in the pipe though.

if u want straight powder you shood check out the volkl sanouks but personnally the maiden aks are my favorite skis of all time

you said you may not ski pow that much. I say 4frnt msp or armada arv. those skis are great in powder and backcountry and still rock park and reg. skiing. unless your going to be takeing frequent heli-skiing trips or cat skiing trips then I think msp or arv is more what your looking for.
