is nothing special. this series of games is beginning to get very monotonous.. the only new features they put in are a "updated" hit stick (flicking up does high tackles, down does low tackles), a wide reciever mode where you can control the reciever and different features to the recivers, you can strip the ball, ad there is a new "weapon" feature which shows players strong points while on the field. these features can be cool, but honestly who uses these things? i dont understand why people go out and waste 60$ just to update their madden.

idk thats my opinion on.. what do you all think
 
madden is so fucken boring...i hate a lot of sports game casue u have to stop and go sooooooo much. like shottin and racing r way funner
 
its the first next gen madden to have a fantasy draft. they have hundreds of new animations, they also have a highly improved franchise mode. i dont know where you have been but madden hasent been groundbreaking since madden 2001.
 
groundbreaking? i dont care about that added feature bull shit, i care about game play, and its getting boring. and havent all the maddens had fantasy draft? yea im pretty sure they have
 
i wasent saying this version is groundbreaking, i dont think it is. also this is the first next gen madden to have a fantasy draft option. also the online is much better then previous maddens. many more online features.
 
for current gen its the exact same gameplay except for Hitstick 2.0 and gang tackling, so its basically updated rosters with a tiny tiny bit better graphics but one thing i love is the servers are so much better and all the glitches have been removed

also records on,ine carry over from last year which is retarded because there are people with 2000 games played on their record which is gay

also the computer is again a dumbass and cant do shit, if you play someone who doesnt user then it is easy to score 50+ and blitzes arent effective and i think its dukb that in my first game i play of 08 i see no big changes and can win 92-0 over someone who has already played 40 games, i want madden each year to have new features like playmkaer and QB vision next year, and the new feature of controlling the WR is amazingly retarded, the computer never throws u the ball even if u make everyone block so their are only 2 options he always throws to the other one, basiacally this game is 07 with updated rosters and better servers, which isnt that bad.

think about it. a bunch of men in tights bending over, then chasing after each other, then "tackling" (humping) each other. i just dont find it very exciting.
 
Dude are you kidding me football is probally one of the most exciting sports out there to watch and play. Theres scoring in it but not too much unlike soccer, hockey or basketball and its fast paced unlike baseball or golf. And it takes so much work to be good at it, I have so much respect for pro football players and how much dedication they have, and madden is probaly my favorite game on ps2 its always fun to have tournies with your friends.
