Hey i got some extra $$$ i am looking at madtrix 176. how do these work almtn and park?? i already have 1260 for park skis so i am kind of liiking for an almtn. i sold my concepts to my brother. what y'll think??

after demoing pretty much every ski from this season, i ended up getting mad trix. for me, they were the best compromise for all mountain and park. perfect sidecut, and nice and stiff. they rip.

^^ What he said, they are a pretty damn nice ski. I'd say probably my second favorite 'all-mountain but still rule in the park' twin after the Candides.

how durable is it. i beat things to hell is the top sheet a pile of crap or good? is the ski able to take good abuse i know Jon olsen uses them but he is not a brutal rider.

fuck head and fuck moseley. that's what i think about the mad trix. all except jon is the tight tho. that's all

Sometimes it just takes lots of practice and the will to beat your face in, get back up, and do it again is what it's all about.....

i really like the mad trix

here's the deal on durability...

the topsheet gets cut and scraped to hell. they will look beat. but it's all superficial... as far as real problems, it looks like there's no way these sticks are gonna delam. they are solid.. the edges are good, they don't get all bent into the base from rails, and its a full wood core, that's super stiff so it won't break down or lose camber.

mad trix are the best skis ive ever ridden for all mountain and for park. the top sheet gets really cosmetically fucked up but thats it.

Yeah I have the madtrix and I love them...favorite ski I have ever ridden...they ride like a real ski and the wood core gives a good stiff pop. definitely mount them in big mountain setup if you actually plan on skiing with them and not just park (although I mounted mine an inch forward after playing with a pair of demo bindings for a while)

i didn't like them, i had them last season and found them super heavy and extremly clumsy in the air, that could be that they were a bit to long for me to though, they were really chattery at high speed also

Seize the carp

chattery at high speeds? i haven't found this to be even remotely true... they are more stable at speed than any other twin i've ridden except for tweaks.

once again they were probably chattery cause they were to long for me, they were 180 and i'm 5'9
