Mad Traffic in Litttle Cottonwood

Okay, I would seriously like to know about all this traffic in LCC. A few days ago it took 1 1/2 hours to get from Alta to Snowbird, then another 1-2 hours to get out of the canyon. (not to mention like 2.5 hours up) I never remember this happening before. Anybody know what's going on?

An ice climber got hurt one day and they had to airlift him out, i think thats the day your talking about because i was up there and it took fucking forever to get down the canyon

I actually heard about that, but I never connected that it might have caused the traffic. Thanks.

Rush hour (3:45 - 4:30ish) It takes for ever to get out of that canyon no matter if there was an accident or not. ( Tourists don't know how to merge) So I suggest grabbin a coke (or beer) and chillin on the tram deck for a hour or so after the end of the day and wait for the traffic to die down. Thats where u will find me = )

it was way bad the day before that, the day after the storm when it was way nice and sunny, i work at Albion and i didnt leave till 730 and i didnt get to the mouth till about 930 so its just been bad lately probably due to everyones winter break and all the tourists

You should shut the fuck up, because that same day it would have taken us only that long but the car ran out of gas and battery. We then phoned the insurance to come help us. They called 45 minutes later (after telling us they could come) only to tell us they couldn't make it up the canyon. My friend then had to phone family members which took another hour. So tack 2 hours onto your canyon drive. That sucked. BUt really it happens when the road gets gnar... let it go.

I heard that on the 30th when it was dumping balls someone went off the road.

and the 31st I think it was they had an ice climber fall between A and B, and they actually shut traffic down to land a helicopter on the road to evac him out of there or something.
