^ my bad accidentally hit enter, the story is 2 weekends ago my friend martin and i went up to killington to score some cheap gear and got some stuff way cheaper than we thought we would. martins dad drove us up, and we were looking around. not a lot of good stuff, only a few pairs of k2's. martins dad collects old shit, like 60's gear. thats what he was looking for, and there wasnt really any of that around. so he asked the guy running the show if he could find anything like that. the guy said he didnt know about it at the swap, but said that there was a dumpster, yeah, a dumpster, full of old equipement that the ski club was gonna toss and that he was welcome to any of that crap. so after we were done looking around, we went up to the ski club. martins dad was looking around for what he wanted, and there were a lot of skis, when i saw the word LINE under a big pile of skis. really suprised, i pulled the ski out and then found its mate. I found a pair of line mavericks from way back, 170's, with only a little rust and delamination, just chilling in the dumpster. soon after, martin pulled out an older pair of volkl twins, i dont remember what their called. so if i can grab a pair of cheap bindings, i got a piece of jib history and a pair of beater skis for free. hopefully ill get some pics up soon, the mavericks are in decent shape. line skis, definitely not what i expected from a killington dumpster.
