it seems to be happening on summit pizza nights which is fucked up. my friends boards got stolen off the rack (that was locked) on monday. a brand new NS evo and his girls K2..

my neighbors car got broke into, my car got broke into, two others in the lot got broke into AND it happened AGAIN on wednesday, different cars in the summit lot.

what the fuck is going on. this is wack as hell

im used to just throwing my bag wherever i want being from the east coast.did that a keystone a few years ago and it was gone an hour later. it was just a backpack with my lunch in it too

YOU must be new to summit if you dont know him.

Ive lived here for 3 years and never heard of this much action happening before.

i really dont feel the need to "prove" the length of my residency. this is summit county, its like a crossroad for every fuckin kid in america and even other countries.

i know it happens but never to this extent. i think the tally was like 6 boards, 3 coats, lots of random shit, broken windows and such all within a couple days of each other and on monday/wednesday so its most likely some fags from summit pizza.

i dunno bout theft because Ive luckily never had anything stolen from summit *knock on wood* but Ive noticed that along with a bunch of chill people summit also has its share of complete douchebags. Im sure most of you guys on here are chill, but Ive seen a lot of people who think theyre shit is too hot.

I guess that goes for most citites but being a mainly ski and snowboard community the attitude is a little diffferent. I one time saw some dumbass snowboard punk trying to start a fight with a 40 yr old dude for no apparent reason. he was one of those kids who thinks that theyre hard when really would easily get theyre ass kicked by most people.

I always wanted to live in a ski town but I think summit just wouldn't be on my list, not to say it isnt a cool place to live cause im sure its awesome. just an outsiders perspective.

I've only been in CO for a year, but as far as I've experienced summit is a pretty nice place. We're all here for the same reason, to shred, and most of us own nice gear because skiing is our life. Seriously there's no reason to fucking steal from someone else. It's pretty sad that I can't leave me skis on my rack (it locks too) anymore and I have to empty out my car when I stay in summit. I thought it was a trustworthy place....but if I get something like my skis/boots/jacket stolen, I'm done for the season.

i dont understand how fellow skiers and snowboarders steal others shit. i would be devastated if my stuff got stolen and i couldn't ski anymore...especially if you are living in summit you are prolly working hard so you can ski. and being around all that fun and not being able to participate would blow.
