Any of you guys ski mad river glen?

no park, no boards, minimal groomers...

This place is sick.

as far as i am concerned it is some of the best skiing in VT!

i skied mad river exclusively for 10 years and had the time of my life. hit it up in park skiing though and got addicted. It's always fun to shred it at MRG though.

I just got my MRG pass for this year and i cant wait. tree skiing is my addiction. Havent really got sucked into park yet.

i did freeride team for the last 3 years but i'm too old this year. i have a couple of buddies who ski there, but can't always make it up, so i'm looking for people to ski with some days

ya man it is a trek up there for me but i will be up as much as i can. Also looking for a ski buddy for the trees

I grew up skiing there, an incredible mountain to which I give credit to molding me into the skier I am today.

At MRG it's not just about the 20th or getting up over the ridge and dropping into some EC backcountry. It's about the people there, the environment is incredible. I won't have a pass this year, but I'll definitely try to get up there a few days. Great mountain.

true true max
for me it's about that perfect day, when tower 10 suddenly becomes a playground, the kind of day when new lines are discovered, about watching some of the best skiers in the state drop super sketch ledges, having your friends tell you to do this huge ledge and working up the courage to do it and being super stoked afterwords, about saying whatup to bruce the liftie, about building a sick booter, having ski patrol shut it down, and then pulling out the bamboo next run and hitting it again............................. and looking forward to a sick next season

I'm excited, got up, looked out my window. And it took a minute to register... But it's snowing RIGHT MEOW!!!

i know when i was running this afternoon, i went up on top of a hill where u can see the mountains, and there was so much white. and it was snowing in shelburne, but not staying :(

The people there are the best. everyone is just so cool with everyone else.

Just charging into the woods and taking anything the wilderness gives you is a rush. But almost all of my best days there involve catching a bump and just eating shit in deep snow. just pushing your own skill level i guess..

Or spring days hopping grass an mud and rocks, thats even exciting

i love how in the spring everyone grabs a shovel on the way down to keep it so we can get from top to bottom. just a great spirit

my uncle josh tower has a place there he knows a ton of people there i skied there it is sick skiing it was a pow day too its the alta of the east

by far the best tree skiing there is, man why bother going into a park when you can spend the day in the woods finding lil patches of pow. By far my fav mountain.

yeah i tried to get a job there this winter to help out with my ski bum line of work, but never got a call back, prolly shouldnt have said i am a professional ski bum

ya ma i did the same thing with killington, a free pass is a free pass, but it turns out they dont like the ski bum type they like workers

yeah well i said i worked in a grain store so I am a hard worker, just when you drop outta college to ski and they look at your resume and they see three dif school and everytime i drop out is near december, really smells like ski bum
