what is this.. amateur hour. I'm willing to bet they have webcams that will allow you to see if they're making snow... and once that begins check the site for a date.

it takes the same amount of energy to post the answer to my questions as it does to ns slam me. i'm new to the area and was just curious if anyone had any helpful information. i'm in CO now and I fly back tomorrow and I'm hoping that I'll get to shred there on my way back down to cinci from MI. I'm looking forward to seeing the ohio kids from the aspen jam. Let me know

yeah. That's why I gave you answers saying check webcams and their website. Not even the people who own MadRiver know when it's gonna open. It all depends on weather. Once it gets cold, consecutively for a few nights then you can assume it will be soon.

well they started blowing snow today and next week looks cold so hopefull they will open in the next week and a half to 2 weeks

Yeah, that doesn't help you guys that have snow days today (which is pathetic, 3" of snow = a snowday?!?!?!)

No word on what features will be in the park, just keep your eyes on their park cam. They have 48 more hours to make snow and set stuff up.
