okay i have been going to mrm for a while now and now i wanna go to snow trails...last year all my friends and my brother were feelin the same way and now jus cuz the heard that mrm got a new snow cat and park manager they wanna go bak there...but i still wanna go to snowtrails!!! can you guys please explain to these guys why snow trails is better

haha snowtrails kicks the SHIT out of mrm. they actually know how to make jumps and rails at Snow Trails. everything is maintained, usually. mrm is the worst. but if i were you i would go to pns cause badasses ski there.

im his brother and the thing is... i like jumps and im not too crazy about rails... yes snowtrails has sick rails but for me.. i go down hit one jump and im done... its not too much fun... i know if snow trails had more jumps it would be sweet but there isnt any room or snowtrails just doesnt doo jumps they do rails

they had 3 hits in a row last year up until about mid season the only reason they had to take them out was because of the warm up which caused snow shortage.

ok... im gonna venture out and say unless its a contests you wont find a jump much bigger than 40 in a terrain park in indiana or ohio... maybe michigan. Everytime ive been to Mad River the park was shitty. bad lips on rails worst jumps ever! id go to snowtrails

unless you put the parks on the steep hills but no we can't do that cuz that's where the 70 year olds have their races

all true statements but snow rails is the way to go ive been o both with the people that have made this thread and if you dont go to snow trails then you are waisting your money!!! learn to do rails because it is all part of skiing

snow trails love it love the jump love the rails hate the little kids but love all the people that ski their end of story got to the trails

this was the one jump that was there when i went...

it was fun but it was just like a one hit run but it was deff. sweeet

the first hit was where the ofs box was on the left side(facing down hill) the second one was where the high, low line was all season, the third was down from that on the left by the woods beide the butter pad

mad rivers rails are like sad pieces of long metal thats my thought and not even long most of the time

ya dude but you've got to understand, when you came at the end of the season the park was deff not tip top shape, when the park was built at the beginging of the season there were 3 jumps in a row, there was a smaller jump up top like 20 or so ft idk, then there was the bigger jump and i dont know how big it was, and then the step up and butter pad with the a frame coming out of it. but with it being Ohio with the constant change of weather from warm to cold snow to rain you never no how long everything can stay good. about midseason stuff had to be cut out because there were grass spots on the hill and everything and snow was needed for the other features. But still the park crew made everything as sick as possible with the snow we had. i have the park vid from the beginging of the season on my myspace www.myspace.com/ohiofujative179. I really hope you do the right thing and go to snowtrails it was the best disicion i ever made.

does anyone have any pictures of the jumps in the begining of the season so i can prove to my freinds that snow trails didnt just have that one jump at the end of the season

i dont wanna say anything is 100 percent concrete just yet, but it looks like ill be in charge of the terrain park this season. not taking anything away from the people who have done it in the past, as its always been amazing, but i have some ideas. stuff snowtrails has never had before. itll be a good season. all i have to say.

sorry, you didnt really make it clear. but maybe if i would have read all your posts about about snowtrails eh?

well get some dude. hope the park is epic.

I would assume Snowtrails will still be a better park this year. Alot of that has to do with the fact that there is a core group of riders that are always there. Kinda' like PNS has been. That being said, I know MRM is still trying to get with the program, lets see if the money they spent in the off season will make it onto the hill. I hope it does, the more places we have to ride, the better.

was this one of those jumps that was sick at the begining of the year and wasnt there due to snow at the end of the year... cuz if so... snowtrails has me sold
