hey i am gonna head up to mad river tomorrow and am lookin for some one to ride with. i have class at osu until 1:18 so if you need a ride let me know and i can get you from campus after that just give me a call or text me and let me know 614-440-3017

I'll be out there around 5:45-6:00pm. Should be pretty sick. If you can get to dublin you're more than welcome to ride with with me.
 
yea mike im gonna be there friday 4-??am havent strapped into my skis in almost 2 weeks!! Fuck school, finals, and 6am baseball
 
k sick dude... and for anyone skeptical about mad river, it is sick right now... the last jump in the jump line is 9able and has a lot of pop .... the park is the best i have seen in years
 
I should probably be there sometime this weekend, saturday or monday. Will be my first time there, but I keep hearing good things.
 
it was great but i did not really go into the park. i am just learning so there is a perfect little box and rail off on the other side that i am gettin down. thats where i really spent my time so i cant say much about the main park but the other one is great for beginners.
 
Dang, was gonna go tomorrow (fri) but its supposed to be something like -35 w/ windchill so my mom won't let me. I think Im gonna head over with some friends saturday when it's warmed up a bit. Anybody gonna be there or need a ride?
 
Damn the park looks sooo fun. I think i am def going to have to make my way down when i get this cast off my leg.
 
not going to lie massive props to Mad River the park looks the best its been in years! cant wait to go ride it!
 
went up today. the new set up is HOTTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ive rode a lot of parks in my day, and I must say that at one point in time each resort has had its moment in the spotlight as "Best park in Ohio", and it is my opinion that Mad River now holds that title., and quite possibly the best park Ohio has ever seen. Can you say Little Boulder? 7 jumps, numerous rails, etc etc. The place is legit. Mad props to Josh, Brian and everyone else that had a hand in reshaping the park.

Get to MRM as soon as possible!!!
 
the park is off the charts you can do anything you really want on the jumps and the rail lines give you so many options... this is by far the best park mad river has ever seen and every feature is set up perfectly anyone that has had a bad experience at mad river should go back now so they can experience what mrm is all about
 
yea, gotta say, the place is pretty bangin right now, the new lower section was pretty damn nice. really likin the sidelip features and trap box. nice to finally get to ride legit tables too!
 
Holy Tom Wallnutz! Today was absurd. right now according to papworth we have 36 features! yes 36! Best i have ever seen in a MRM park. My only regrets is that the park isnt big enought to install the features that we have laying aroud:

S-Rail, S-Box, C-box(we have 3), Rainbow rail, several 10-20ft flatbars,

The one thing we lack is the skiers who waant to step their game up so we cant put in some crazier and ballsier features and jibs, and a big fucking jump.

Otherwise MRM is pretty ignant!
 
They got 8 jumps right now.

the 4 up top are okay. first one is about 10 ft. second about 20. 3rd and 4th are side by side and not big at all....then at the bottom you have a 4 jump line. it goes 10 ft. 20 ft. 30 ft. 40ft. the last one is sick and can be taken pretty far.
 
yea that last jump is pretty legit. not HUGE but big enough to get you trick. more table style too so less of a drop, with more pop. its fun
 
I really want them to put in that s box. Just went tonight and it was sick. So many things to choose from, jumps are sick.

well im here to say hats off to mad river on there park everything is well placed!!! everything is proportional to the hill. the features are build for everyone! from beginner to expert the jumps play out so nice... rails placement excellent!
once again HATS OFF to MadRiver Mountainthey have stepped it up 120% job well done.
SPEECHLESS!

Went monday. This is my first year getting into park, and my first chance making it to somewhere that actually has a park this season. I spent most of my day in the beginner park which is on the lift all the way to the left. They have 2 flat boxes, followed by a short flat rail, followed by a really wide box ( i think it might be called a dance floor), and finished with a battleship box. Based on me having practically no xp in park, this was awsome. Other then a crap load of random gapers, I got to work on hitting the stuff all I wanted, and could slide the battleship by the end of the day, which was a pretty big accomplishment for me. Hopefully I can make it out there somemore and progress to the real park.

people who were wondering about the s-box, it is now in i was there yesterday and it was at the very bottoom right after the 20 ft flat box to 32 down box. the only bad thing is that the s-box is a little close to the 20 flat 32 down so you can't hit both but the setup for the s-box is still pretty nice
 
yea. you had to hike a bit, but not really a big deal. its pretty sick tho.

They also changed up the bottom a bit, tightened up the gap in the flat down, put in a new flatbox, and changed out the highbox for a lil jump.
 
yeah they took out the gap because of the girl comp that they had on saturday and thats also why they took out the big box and replaced it with a little jump.
 
Everything seemed about the same as far as I could tell, except they added 2 or so kickers on the upper stretch, and an S box at the bottom.
