Mad River this weekend

it was pretty good...for opening weekend. i went up friday with my bro and a friend and they had a few things in the park. they had 3 little ass jumps...all built shitty so i hope they fix that up but they did have a lack of snow. then they had a hip/spine that was pretty ligit...not too big but definitely on the rite track. than they had 2 boxes....25 ft and 40 ft. the 25ft was the one at the asab jam...both those were solid. than at the bottom of the park they had a little picnic table set up...kinda lame. over all it was a super fun first day!
 
I like the effort. I just got a season pass up there for this year, so I'm hopin for good things. I've only been to snow trails the past couple of years. Excited to see the new mad river.

not sure yet man.....with all these warm temps i duno if they will have much of anything but they might of made snow last night and i know they can make it tonight so that will definitetly help...oh and they are under a winter storm watch with predictions of 6-8 in. so that would be pretty badass too....i think im goin up tomorrow morning so ill let you kno when i get back!
 
yeah i was just up their tonight. alot better than last week. but still no new rails. They just moved the 2 boxes over to the center and literally set them up like urbans. you had to pop pretty hard to get on it. tHE picnic is still there..pretty gay... They added two small kickers where the boxes used to be. i didnt even bother hitting those. The table at the top was in better condish but had a huge divet 12 feet into the landing cuz of those damn boarders. The spine was shit they completely shuveled under it and its water logged so i couldnt slide on it. But they added a prety decent table that you need to hit full speed from the table in order to clear. All in all it was okay for the second week of being open
