As some of you know, mad owl is trying to get $25,000 to design a new website. They are currently in second place for the competition and loosing by 300 votes I believe. There is eight days left to vote and you vote once a day. With the help of the people of newschoolers, they could easily win. On the website where you vote, they say they would like to make customizable poles for customers. That would be so sick and everyone defienetly needs to vote or continue voting so they can win.

Also since when does it cost 25,000 to make a fucking website? I made one with a .com name domain for like 25 bucks year.
 
It takes 2 seconds to vote, and I would much rather see the money go to a ski company than to those ravers. Why not help out fellow skiers, it's not like you have to buy their poles if you vote.
 
I don't think your realize how much a website can cost. First, lots of companys will pay tens of thousands of dollars for the name of a website (I would imagine mad owl would keep their website). If you wanted a website called skipoles.com it would cost so much more than a website called madowlskipoles.com

Second, with 25,000 could be used for a customizable pole maker and other cool stuff that you can't find anywhere else.

Third, a small company like mad owl needs the money.
 
This. Why would you not support a small ski business when it takes almost no effort. But you didn't need to make another thread for it. Mad owl already made one.
 
I just don't see it being very profitable, unless they go out of business and sell them super cheap in the near future then I won't be buying some. Even then that's unlikely, votes anyway.
 
Come on now people. Small company in need of help, NS has made this happen before.
