mad owl's poles claim a "1 year warranty" on the product page. then on their terms and conditions page "Warranty Disclaimer

This site and the materials and

products on this site are provided "as is" and without warranties of any

kind, whether express or implied."

anyone know what the deal is? is there a warranty? what would it cover? my assumption would be manufacturer defects so if it falls apart in the closet they'll fix it but if you use it and it breaks they won't cover it?

im guessing its what you said, and like most companies warrenties, regardless of the product. if it is a manufacturer error within the first year, they will fix the problem (something like the grip falling off or something like that, idk)

however, if you fall on them and break or bend them, that is your own fault and they aren't responsible.

its similar to skis. if you hit a rock or a rail and crack/blowout an edge, its your fault. i cant think of many examples covered under warrenty, so ill use a personal example. my on3p caylors delamed in the tail without any sign of impact, the glue just seperated. i got in contact with them and was told that if i shipped them back, they would reglue them (didnt end up doing it because i needed it done fast and it was going to be a week or more to ship and get them back, where evo would do it for the same price as shipping in two days). regardless, that can be considered more of a manufacturer defect that the company can help resolve

yeah i get it with skis, seems like a bit more can go wrong that's tied to manufacturing process though. i guess i was just trying to think what could actually go wrong with a pole that they would have to warranty it. basket or grip falls off? thats about all i can think of.

i would have a hard time spending more than $10 on poles. That being said the mad owl poles do look pretty neat

Exactly! If the cap/grip/insert/ basket nipple comes loose we will replace them. we will even pay return shipping.

If you bend or break them or do some stupid shit to them it's your loss.
