sick sick, im super stoked to get it.. i just got into photography, so ill be happy to 1. have a computer that can hold all my pictures but also i just like the idea of macs.. degfinatly seems the way to go
be carefull and get a hard case to protect it. I just got one, loved it, had droped it 3 weeks ago dented the side alittle. this week, the backlight to the lcd died or broke and when i went to get it fixed they said that the dent caused the display faliure and refused to fix it for free. mean while, the display is the most expensive peice (700-1000 to fix) and my dad will probably have to pay for it all. Also, it runs super hot so install this great program to speed up your fans and have that case running cool so you wont be steril.
my advice is to learn how to use apostrophies, i can tell you were a previous windows user, they make you dumber as a result of using them fro an extended period of time
ahaha o man , i havent felt like such a noob in soooo long. this is really the first time i havent had any idea what to do.. well its all a learning experience!!
get a bluetooth mouse (with a right click button not the bullshit apple one) and some rechargeable AAs.
Set up hot corners. They're super convenient once you get used them and stop accidentally hitting them. Plus its hilarious when someone touches your computer and makes the windows tile.
be very careful with the power cord.. don't let it get bent out too much and when you pull it from the computer push down on it to break the magnetic connection as opposed to just pulling on the cord to pull it out. i bought mine about 6 months ago and i've already killed one power cord and the fuckers cost like $80.
other than that, amazing computer though.. i've been on a mac for 10 years.
uhhh i just got it so, nothing really yet. i have aperature 1.5 but havent even used it yet, ill get to that tonight. im probly going to get cs2, as my pro says he can get it for me.
you're obviously having a hard time reading what i'm writing. maybe if i write in all caps it will help?
I OWN A MACBOOK PRO.
THE POWER CORDS HAVE PROBLEMS.
MINE BROKE WITHIN 3 MONTHS.
i'm well aware that they are magnetic. as i've now said several times i own one.
as i've also said several times, be careful with them as the magnet is strong enough to cause problems if you just pull the cord to unplug it all the time as opposed to pushing down on the magnet to break the connection.
well you must be retarted or treat your like shit because i have not had a problim or herd of a problim like that. I had problims with mu powerbooks but not with my mbp
