I don't roll often it's more a reference to the king of bay area rap, the Thizz King, Mac motherfuckin' Dre. Or Andre since we're calling rappers by their first name. And yes I am in high school.

straight up, i hated thrift shop..... not a fan of the beat, the lyrics, or the tone at all.

the only way to describe it in my opinion is that it just isn't macklemore.

same love is a great song though. a GREAT song.
 
but then again, it's not like he hasn't done this before haha

the lyrics make some sort of sense though, (i'm probably wrong) but to me the song is almost about how icons can wear something so stupid and cheap and suddenly everybody will pay lots of money for it even though they'll look ridiculous.

Nope. i am from seattle and he actually went to my school. For a while i disliked him but i feel he is getting better. Has good stuff every now and then
 
he's incredible live. probably the best concert i've been to. i saw him in seattle last year and it was nuts
 
I saw him on Friday night in seattle and it was freaking amazing! Best concert I've been to (minus the two dj acts before him) I would have paid the same amount for just macklemore

i personally like thrift shop a lot, it has a similar vibe to some of the stuff on "Language of my world," which has some goofy but hilarious songs.
 
Macklemore is one of the best lyricists I have ever heard of, Same Love and Neon Cathedral. And on Ryan Lewis part, BomBom is so sick.
 
Mothafuckin' Thrift Shop. Of course, And We Danced will always be the best light-hearted song of his.
 
Possibly the best album ever released. I want to recommend specific songs, but I would probably just end up listing out every song on the entire album. So good.
