Macklemore x Ryan Lewis-The Heist

the single is dope as fuck, I've listened to it probably close to ten times at this point. I hope tickets to the tour aren't too expensive, I'd love to see them live.
 
This song is amazing. It really preaches the best possible message I've heard in a song in awhile. Macklemore is our best hope for mainstream music today. I'm definitely buying the song since all of the proceeds go to benefit marriage equality in Washington. I was really hoping he would make it out to Pullman this year, that's the only thing I'm bummed about.
 
I agree that Mack is a whole heck of a lot better over Ryan Lewis' beats. Then again most would be. Love the dudes style, one of my favorite producers for sure.
 
Making the northwest look better and better with each new song. I'm so happy people have started to follow macklemore.
 
its up on their website. i have to get a macklemore tattoo, probably the only music that has really gotten me for the past 3-4 years.

It blows my mind that same sex marriage isn't equal in the land of freedom...and it's 2012. Grow up you conservative fucks and realize that no government is strong enough to put boundaries on love.

This thread deserves more attention. NS always rallies for marriage equality and this song is a huge step in the right direction.
 
personally i dont like the new song, but it is a great message. however i am extremely stoked for the new album
 
I don't really like his music, but the song has a great message. Good for him for actually putting that out there.
 
I used to be super into macklemore, iv seen him 4 or 5 times now at different festivals. his shows are the same every time, pretty entertaining for the first go round. after that it gets old real quick.

ryan lewis is a genius. macklemore is a white boy with decent flow. nothing special here.

tickets should be around $40. i went to one of his shows last year and they were $18, but a ticket this year would be so worth it. they put on incredible shows
 
Im with you all the songs sound the same like he's trying to make a big deal out of nothing. For example, wings, does getting a new pair of shoes need such a climaxing beat, and where does the murder of his friend come in. Honestly, very random.
