Macbook questions? CD wont come out of slot

I put a CD in my 2010 macbook, and turned off the computer for the night. When i turned my computer back on, the CD wont eject but makes the sound of ejecting. Help?

turn it on its side and shake.

but seriously, turn it off, and then you hold down like shift + eject (probably wrong about those specifically) while it turns on.

i had a power book a few years back and it would eat my CDs all the time. I think cuz I dropped it and lost a guitar pick in there too lol. Anyway, I pointed the CD drive toward the ground and pressed the eject button and it came out.

turn it off, turn it on, click the trackpad and hold it while its booting up i believe, it happened to me.

also, google? seriously, google can answer almost any question

yeah, uh, i kind of smashed my disk drive so mine does the same thing, except it just straight doesnt work for anything now

i just had this problem about 5 minutes ago hah i accidentally put a burnt copy of microsoft office in and it started making all these funny noises and wouldn't eject. i was like oohhh shiiiit then restarted it then drug the cd icon on the desktop to the trash a few times. then it came out.
