Can someone tell me how to enlarge the font in safari? I've googled and nothing has worked. I even changed the font in the preferences but it doesn't change anything.
 
Zoom in and out as you would on an iphone... make sense? Like take your two fingers and spread them apart diagonally.

But for real... why are you not running Chrome?
 
haha that's a good question.. just bought it today and didn't even think to install it on here
 
when your in safari go the preferences, then appearance. When you've done that change your font by clicking the Select button next to the current font and a font thing will come up
 
assuming you have 10.6 or higher just pinch the track-pad with your thumb and index finger like on an iPod touch
 
If he just bought the computer and its new its probably got Lion on it, and in my opinion the version of Safari included with Lion beats the hell out of the current version of Chrome (as it performs on Lion).
