ok i have an essay due tomorow, and i need your assistance, anybody who has read macbeth by shakespeare you gotta help me out

i have to explain what the 3 witches did during the play, so far i ahev that they act as a catalyst and they give macbeth ideas, thanks to all those who help out

Sorry, Macbeth is one of the WS plays I haven't had the chance to read yet.

ok well the witched played with fate. they told macbeth who was the enemy and whjo he should kill etc etc.. he set him up for all the upsets in the story. basicly they just predicted/caused events in the future. they warped macbeths mind,

they foreshadow MacBeths future. without them then the macbeth would not be so ego driven. He only acts out that way because he knows that it will lead to ultimate power. The witches are also symbols of corruption. Corruption in ones self. the corruption of power and the corruption that comes with wanting power and not being afraid to do anything to get what you want.

antistudy.com...but surprisingly thats one o shakespears plays that i actually have read. um...the witches predict the rest o the book. they tell macbeth what will happen to his aquaintances (sp?!) and they tell him what to do about those events. um...they made up that saying....that famous witch one. like....toil toil boil and trouble or whatever. im way to tired to remember it

in addition to just predicting the rest of the play, the witches gave macbeth a false sense of security. they told him things which he would never believe would happen like the woods moving, and him being killed by a man not born of woman. if he didnt believe that he would come out of everything a free man, the murders might havent taken place.

 
you can also get something called colesnotes or something that tell you the whole story resumes etc.

macbeth is the only shakespeare play i like.. i actually love that play. it was really in depth to human personality and human flaws.

i couldn't understand what he was saying so i just watched the movie instead of reading it and i still got 91% in English 11. HAHA you guys have no idea how easy school is if you do it by Internet
