MAc vs Pc

Uhh? no.

Hes wrong. What do you really need PC for asides from gaming? Games may not be so flawless on boot camp, but any other program available to solely to PC will run fine in bootcamp.

The only things i ever use my PC for are when i want to do any jailbreaking sort of shit with my xbox/iphone/wii/ps3....which i just use bootcamp.

Without claiming gaming, what do you really need a PC for?
 
Okay, take gaming out of the equation. It's now an even playing field.

What do you need mac for that a PC can't do?

exactly even playing field neither does anything better. macs can video edit just as good as pcs can. macs can audio edit just as good as PCs. macs can surf the web just as well as pcs. we dont get virus as much as pcs. the only think thats better about macs is the finger gestures which is amazing and we dont get as much viruses as pcs do. PRONZ ALL NIGHT BABY!! and when we install things macs dont have registry that fuck up everything.
 
I spend about half my time on my computer playing games...the other half surfing the internet. Also you can't just cut out gaming that is a giant reason buy computers. You are taking a major selling point away from PC seems kind of unfair.

Without claiming how cool and trendy Macs are what do you really need a Mac for?
 
PS...if you get a virus on your computer while watching porn than you are idiot so I am not worried about that. And if my PC does get a virus than it gets auto detected and cleaned in seconds.

Windows on a Mac sucks. Period. The whole argument saying "Oh it uses the whole Mac CPU to run Windows" is shenanigans. I rather not get into as I have millions of times on NSG.
 
despite the fact that ableton and photoshop run way more smoothly on a pc? Those are the only "artsy" programs Ive had experience with on both computers however...
 
well for me at least:

graphic editing, such as photos and videos

using programs like final cut studio suite, xcode, and celtx

browsing my internet worry free

like take two computers 1 mac and 1 pc. and have the same CPU power, and same amount of ram and test shit on them! thats the only way.
 
Well you game so I think it will be hard for anyone to convince you to do that. However, if you are looking for a new computer, I'd suggest building a hackintosh. You save a bunch of money, can run two OS'es FLAWLESSLY, and have the ability to customize your computer from the ground up.
