PC kills MAC.

macs are way played out. they arnt bad or anything, but they are wicked expensive for what they are. for the most part, its like oakley sunglasses. yea, they look cool, but mostly you pay for the name, when a 20 dollar pair of chilis will work just as well. and as for editing, i know alot of people, myself included, that prefer PC. its just assumed editing=mac, which just isnt true. but pretty much i think its just personal prefference. both are good machines, but myself, as a designer, cannot stand macs

everyone is saying that you get the best of both worlds on a mac now that u can run windows... why would you want to? that completely defeats the purpose of having a mac. you buy a mac for the os cus its superior to windows. i have a mac. i love it. i will never own a pc ever again. but i also dont game. which is pretty much the only thing that is better on pcs now. pretty much it just depends on what you like. but macs are better. haha.

the only reason to buy a pc would be to game. or because they are cheaper, but we wont talk about that. and if you are only going to game you might as well buy a pc that will perform way better than any mac running windows can. boot camp seriously slows down performance to the point that there is no point in running it. my question is... why use a mac to run windows to run something that you could just run on a mac? makes no sense.

Windows isn't better for games. Its just the fact that since most people have windows, most companies make games for PC's. The chip architecture for the old PowerPC mac's was probably actually better for gaming than the Pentium 4 was. I'm guessing this only becasue the PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii all have IBM chips based on the PowerPC architecture.

they aren't expensive for what they are. Apple uses better components than other companies and their lowest end computer is still pretty high end. Go to Dell's website. Customize a computer to be similar to a MacBook and they will be within 50 dollars of eachother.
