is what i use for my weather image, and i just havent bothered to get the actual temp etc in it as well haha, going of yahoo or weather network seems to work pretty good though

Just got into geek shenanigans, and for the post up there ^, you can rotate scripts, but I'm not sure how. It has something to do with imagemagik, and some other programs and such.

If you have no idea how/what thefuck is going on, then if you search it on YouTube, there's a three part video tutorial that helped me a lot.

Anyway, besides date&time, calendar, and weather.

What else could you put?

I am a big windows person, and my dad just got an imac 23" and it's kinda cool. Still think it's about $300 too expensive for the specs, but I guess your paying for the name and cool look. Oh, and the "magic trackpad" is suprisingly nice.

The same thing happened to me! I made my desktop look awkward and I restarted and just had Time/Date/Month, Calendar, lyrics generated and weather left.

I was messing around with this a lot and getting pissed off until I looked at his website, it says that he is working on a lion compatible geektool. So if you have Lion thats why its not working for ya

Click on your desktop, press finder in the top bar, go to preferences, then click the general tab if you are not already there then unclick the boxes under show these items on the desktop:.

That geek tool is to hard for me to figure out with all the weather and stuff, if I want to see my weather I just go to the Dashboard in my dock. I'll just stick with OS X Lion that I have now.

I've had this for a while now, looking to get a new pic. Geektool was really easy, once I knew what I wanted it took like 15 minutes.

I don't have weather, because Yahoo weather sucks, at least for Sweden.

Also, I have the 2D-dock, but I feel like I want something cooler, like that black text thing someone had. Suggestions?
