http://www.macupdate.com/info.php/id/33398/rucksack

it un-rar's files. I know i have downloaded tons of mix-tapes and albums and couldn't add them to my itunes because they were .rar instead of .zip. Anyway this program is easy to use and lets you change it from .rar. to .zip really easily, so you can add them to your itunes.

cheers!

i just find it useful/easier to add mixtapes and albums to my itunes, i thought others would enjoy it as well.

pretty sure most people that have a mac have some kind of .rar reader

i personally use zipeg

Yeah man for sure. Winrar opens rar files way better than all the other programs that do the exact same thing!

Oh and did you really quote yourself in your sig?

i know you're trying to be smart or whatever, but WinRar has been proven to be the best archiving program out there.

from http://www.donationcoder.com/Reviews/Archive/ArchiveTools/index.html

BEST ARCHIVE TOOL

In recent years the software industry has seen a revival of archive (file compression) tools that are easier to use, more efficient, and more powerful than ever.

RARLab's WinRAR represents the best of this new breed of archive tools, with an unparalleled breadth and depth of high-end features and superior user interface.

WinRAR is a $29 shareware program (as of Fall 2005) by Alexander Roshal of RARLabs which includes a Lifetime license, and its full-featured trial version offers an ample 40-day evaluation. WinRAR provides power where you need it in an archive tool — in its core feature set. WinRAR provides complete support of RAR and ZIP files, unpacks 7z, ACE, ARJ, BZ2, CAB, GZ, ISO, JAR, LZH, TAR, UUE, Z. Among WinRAR features are strong compression, good archiving speed, multi-volume support, encryption, self-extracting modules, and backup facilities.

In the end, after reviewing over a dozen of the very best archive tools, WinRAR proved to have the best overall feature set and performance, and wins our award for Best Archive Tool.

are we clear on that? next time you try and be witty in your responses, dont just talk shit. do some research. because its just embarrassing for you.

so yes, jibbinc, i agree with you. winrar is the way to go.

Are you serious? All that even says is blah blah blah winrar opens a ton of file types no one even gives a fuck about. Then it just says its teh best! with out giving any factual data.

No one truly cares besides you, you know that right? I bet the time difference, if any, between winrar (which costs what $30?) and unrarx (free) is marginal. So go ahead and say its better again because it can open .BZ2s. But go ahead, quote wikianswers and an internet forum as a legitamate sources again.

In the mean time, heres some actual facts too, since its on the internet and such. Answer 4.

Hey there, titscrews, you should all chill out a bit. I can unrar .rar files with my mind. It's free and it uses less batteries than all of your fancy commercial pewter stuff.

id rather pay for a quality product that you can do much more with than a shitty free one. Ok bro, if you think Winrar isnt the best, show me some websites saying it isnt, and saying what other programs are. I looked around, and 95% of the time it said winrar is the best by far. so again, you are saying stuff without doing research. and now you look even more stupid.

And if im the only one who cares about it, why are you trying so hard to justify your answer as being right? sounds like you're taking it a little serious aswell...

and for that yahoo answers page... what are you, 12? fucking grow up. if you thought that was witty or funny in any sort of way, you are stupid and immature. think clearly about your response to this. you look pretty stupid as it is...if i was you i wouldnt want to make it any worse.

pay for a program, that opens up stolen programs. yeah makes sense.

haha keep caring bro.

hahahah sweet man, that all you got to say? and where they fuck did you get that from??stolen programs?...archiving tools have a lot more use than for opening up illegally downloaded software or music. so, once again....do some research before posting, and dont just make shit up trying to make yourself sound smart. because now you look retarded. seriously man, stop talking. for your own sake.

YOU'RE ARGUING ABOUT A FUCKING PROGRAM THAT OPENS .RAR FILES. THERE'S FUCKING A THOUSAND OF THEM, AND THEY ALL DO THE SAME THING. NO ONE GIVES A SHIT.

BUT WHERES YOUR RESEARCH BRO! WHERES YOUR RESEARCH! GAWD YOU LOOK TEH STUPIEDEST WITAOUT DAT REASEARCH!
