mac osx question

ok ive only had mac osx 10.2 for 3 weeks now, but anyway my icons wont stay put! whenever i move hem back and i open a game or, just turn my computer back on the next day my hardrive icon is moved in a different spot how can i get them all to stay put?

You can go to 'View' - then 'Arrange' choose whatever one you want and then they should stay like that.

Hey man I have used macs thru college now for my major....and I really dont like them...thats my opinion....your being the fag here talking about being a nerd and hanging out with 13 year olds....i think i would goto jail if i hung out with 13 yearolds...with the whole age diff.

Dude get Panther (aka Mac Os X.3). It's got way better features. Kicks the shit outta windows. Mac OS X won't crash, is basically virus free and has no flaws in the programming of it unlike windows! If u only just bought 10.2 you can get a copy of 10.3 pretty cheap from any mac reseller or preferably the one u bought 10.2 from.

My computer never crashes. It never gets viruses. It is a PC. Windows usually isn't the problem, its the dumbass user.

Because PCs have a much bigger user base, its typically the OS targetted by those who write malicious programs and exploit faults.

nah, maximumsushi, the biggest problem is that there's too broad of a user base so not only does it make it difficult to fix a piece of shit os (i.e. windoze), but all the extra programs that get installed to make securing the thing even harder. that and the unsecure default windoze install.

I use an iMac G4 17'. I have used it for a year and a half. It has never crashed. It kicks ass for editing videos. My mom has a PC laptop. It srashes every 3 minutes, clicks randomly, and the DVD player gets 3 frames per second. I'd take a mac any day.

Yup. Hate to break it to you PC fags but all the ski videos you're watching are done on Apple computers using either Final Cut Pro 4 or Adobe Premiere. Most of the cd's you have in your car are produced on Apple computers. PC's are only more popular because they're cheaper in both price/quality. Then you wonder why you're $600 Compaq is always crashing/getting viruses/sucking balls/never working right. It's the classic case of you get what you pay for.

 
the pc v.s. mac war is total fucking bullshit!!! pc's are good for some things and macs are good for some things they are so different u can't compare them, macs are great for tons of things and so are pc's if u think otherwise u are stupid fucking dumbshit. its a personal preference which one u like, everyone has different oppinions u all need to shut the fuck up!!! I use both every day and i think there both great!
