Mac or Pc?

Apple = sweet designs but incredably overpriced and not practical for a majority of the population right now despite what a bunch of you in here have said.

Most of Apple's computer clientele are dumbass bangwagoners, like most of you, who bought a macbook and do nothing special with it othen then show it off at every fucking chance they get to show how much of a fucking moron you are for actually buying one in the first place. "OMGBBQ It just works" or "its so much easier to use then a pc", "I hate microsoft and their business policies", etc, etc , etc. Must be hard to see when you've constantly got your face in Steve Jobs pants. How hard is it to use a PC that you had to give up and go to a mac? Grade 4 must have been real hard on you guys...just wait till people start getting pissed off at Apple and their shitty business ethics and start making viruses for Mac's...we'll see how many of you MacDrones stay loyal then...

Let me say though that I dont hate Apple any more then I hate Microsoft; but I do I hate stupid trendsters that buy apple products because they wanna be SEEN with apple products. Did you also buy a Louie Vitton laptop bag to go along with it too? Perhaps you also bought a small dog to keep your laptop company while its in the LV bag...fucking sheep...Is MTV your favorite channel also? Cause like, the music there is sooooo good....

Fuck Apple. Fuck Microsoft. But most of all, fuck you to the MacDrones that take whatever shit Steve Jobs spews from his mouth like its the fucking word of God. You people piss me off the most. SHEEP.

*this rant need not apply to people who actually buy a mac for editing/visual design shit since that is what they are best designed for.

this has probly already been answered but you can run windows on the "superior" hardware of an apple machine. i have an imac (one of the newer aluminum ones) and i run XP on there via parallels and i can game. if you need a faster computer than just buy a better version but i think ur all set anyways. my dad works as a software developer so i have been around macs my whole life.

why spend the extra money for an apple to play games though? Most people don't use the features that make Macs what they are and as a result they could save a shitload of money and just get a PC.

Plus when it comes to upgrading/modifing your system

PC > Mac

ok, i have little experience with macs, so simple question.

through bootcamp on a mac, could i put windows xp on rather than vista, and then run microsoft word, excel, etc on the windows side since i like them more than the mac word proccesing thingy? and if xp is not an option, i can still do it with vista?

you can't get a mac with the same processors, they're too skinny and sleek to fit them in that's why you can only get a 2.6 ghz instead of the 2.8 and the video cards are also slower. frame rate=slower.

I'm pretty sure that Microsft has a Mac version of its Office suite so you donthave to buy windows to run it. it runs in OS10 or whatever the fuck the operating system is called.

well, i dont. im just saying that the platform requirements arent a problem. ive never bought a mac because of a game. again, i have never owned a windows machine in my life; ive always been around macs so i use them to the extent of my (and their) abilities.

"PC

2.8 ghz processor

4 gigs ram

512 mb geforce 9600320 gb hard disc 7200 rpm

$2,050."

as i posted. unless u want a tower, then you can probably do either.
