dude, you dont have to worry about spyware with a mac. and viruses are out there, even th0ough there hasnt been an outbreak of viruses in years. you have almost nothing to worry about.

and yeah, no serious viruses or spyware/adware to worry about on macs. that's the beauty of them. they're such robust systems, the only bad thing is that not alot is available for them... gaming, and download-wise. everything these days is in executable format, since that's what the general public owns. i'm a heavy mac user too though, but since i'm in university now, i needed a pc for things like autocad, pro/E, visuall c++ and various programming compilers and whatnot...

i've been using acquisition for the past year, and it was working fine for me. it didn't have everything i wanted all the time but it's still alright. and then my computer started freezing when i used acquisition. so i don't use it anymore really and my computer doesn't freeze. but maybe try acquisiton? i think it's good for everyone else.
