M&A stoke

Finally got my DIY slider done, so stoked on it. Sorry for the yellow, just snapped the photos quickly with a point and shoot. if you have any questions on how I made it, hit me up with questions. I designed and built the end feet so i have the design to share.

Dude, it's such a nice lens, right? I have loved mine ever since I got it.

...nonetheless, I'm probably going to trade it ha.

I was there yesterday. Make sure to look up. Some very interesting DDR-style architecture going on. As for the city itself, it was quite boring after a week of NYC, haha.

kind of M&A stoke. Just bought these headphones for editing, music, and monitoring audio

^ATH m50? I've got a pair of those, the sound is sooooo high quality. It's really nice to hear booming bass and crisp highs at the same time. I haven't mixed/produced on them in a while but they're so good for listening to music too. You're justified in your stoke.

yep, the m50s. Good to hear, I was going back and forth between a couple of over ears and decided on them. Can't wait to get them in the mail

heading down to california tomorrow to install/train/operate a Cineflex V14 for a month in a jet ranger. can't wait!

Yeah, I'm still in the area (Marblehead) and will be till tuesday or so. I'm going to Cambridge, MA tomorrow, after that I'm going back to NYC again. It'd be fun to meet someone in real life from the internet.

Might actually be staying in marblehead tomorrow night on a boat trip.

PM me your plans/general idea for where you are monday, I'd love to meet up

just bought a second mic stand, mostly so I don't have to transport the one in the studio as often. But it also gives me a very solid backup track while shooting in the studio. I always get nervous about getting good audio.

My wide angle for my mamiya comes tomorrow, time to burn through my stock of velvia 50 and then send in 10 rolls to the lab

I have just found 19 rolls of Kodachrome 64 that my dad had stashed away. Expiration dates? All in the early 1980's haha.

It's like that scene in Jurassic Park with the basement stockroom of endless automatic weapons, flashlights, and walkie talkies.

got to pick Ron Chapple's brain for two days as well, the man has the coolest job around. Got 3 weeks of operating in front of me. Racking up that cineflex time!

It's crazy to think that they have 400 and it's no biggie, While I would do anything for only one.

stoked my t2i didn't overheat after having a 2 hour shoot straight (stopping for 2 seconds or so every 12 minutes).

stoked on having backup audio solution for all my shoots, makes shooting a lot less stressful.

stoked on 10 shoots in the last 3 days and two more on Monday, time to hit the editing board

Stoked on working on a deal to film for a local ski company this season!!! Stoked on getting the electronic kit for my konova

stoked to get some killer shots up at lake champlain next week.

gonna try some star trails, timelapses, get some cliff jumping footy, ect.

bummed on not getting a 24mm vintage prime in time though :( gonna have to make use of my helios and my good ol' kit lens.

Stoked to film some skiing with my brother next winter and this summer at Ski-Ward in MA.

Stoked because I'm finally making the jump to full frame (T2i to 5d mark ii)

Stoked to shoot wedding #2 on saturday

Stoked on all the strobes and studio equipment I've picked up lately

Stoked because my new Rokinon 85mm 1.4 is coming tomoro

life is pretty sweet right now :)

You should get a 5Dc and invest money in glass imo. With the 1000$ difference, you can buy some kick-ass glass.

Stoked that I just made the move to MEDIUM FORMAT!!!!!!!! It's been a long awaited goal, and I finally found the right camera/lens for the right price.

P6x7, 90mm F2.8, TTL Prism.

Found out last week that my boss is sending me to Canada with the Northeastern University basketball team to film a "Hard Knocks" like documentary.

I already have about 10 hours of footage of them preparing for the trip. And I'm pretty much going to be filming 10 hours a day for the 8 days I'm there. I then have to turn all of that into a 30-40 minute film. I'll be a one man team while I'm there in Canada, but I'm up for the challenge

All expenses for the trip are paid for and they're paying me a TON of money. I leave friday...I am beyond stoked

Learned how to track motion with 3d text. Stoked.
