Lutsen Terrain Park

So I just called lutsen and they're hired a company to build a terrain park for them, its supposed to be about a mile long and contain 30 to 40 features, if this happens, no more loch memberships only spirit and lutsen ahha!!!!!!!!!!!

yea dude, like people said on my thread, it could be sweet, but the only problem is mystery mountain (where it will be) is long, but super flat!! So although im sure it could still be pretty sweet, hopefully they will have a lot of rails cuz it's a pretty flat place and im guessing they won't be able to have too many huge jumps or anything, but we'll see, I'm still stoked

Your from duluth, look at spirit, that terrain park is pretty flat. But yea it could totally be too flat.

You make a pretty damn good point, Course the only big jump at spirit, you have to either get speen from the top, or like halfway down (big show) lol, o well I'm still excited to have something besides spirit.

Yea same, for us it'll be like 3 parks to chose from. Tho me and my buds usually always get spirit season passes (soo damn cheap) and cruse the 4 hours every few weekends.

ps if we come do duluth for some shooting purposes you know of any good jibs (theres gotta be lots the whole cities on a hill), and by good they dont have to be ridiculously hard just nice scenary low chance of gettin busted that sorta thing.

Dude, exactly it's a fricken hill lol. Yea man if you come down hit me up with a message and I'll let you know, I know a few, but I know some kids who have hit basically every rail Duluth has, I also know where the down flat down ledge (or whatever it was) from Shanghai six is, yup it's Duluth! If you wanna see one urb sesh of one in Duluth check this out.

K so I hit it up this weekend. Besides the price being fucking ridiculous, at just under 60 american for the day, and they didn't give me my discount for having a spirit mountain seasons pass, the stuff they had up was pretty fun.

The plus sides are: it's obviously not all set up, you can tell from the 12 rails sittin on the hill, and it's still way more fun then loch and as more features. The park premotes progression with boxes and then similar if not identicle rails, so you can learn the Aframe box then hit the A frame rail. Also the jibs slide sooooo nice, I bet you couldnt hook an edge if you tried.

The down sides are: Right now the only jump they have is the same size as my dick if I where standing in Lake Superior right now. Everything was ride on. The boxes are really really wide even for box standards, plus some where angled making them impossible to side at a normal speed. And Finally the shit had really bad flow, you had to skip jibs depending on what jibs you wanted to hit, most of those can be fixed with puttin some downsloped landings after the jib.

Cool man, thanks a lot for the information, hopefully I will be bale to get up there sometime this year, all this damn global warming and shit is killing the snow fall up around there and D-Town especially, I hate how expensive the passes are, I am lucky enought to be good friends with a Junior ski patrol up there so we can usually get a few free passes.

Again, thanks for letting us all know, Peace
