Lumix GH2

Hey guys. I've been looking at a Lumix GH-2 and I'm trying to compare it to the Canon 5D, 7D, and 60D. I don't have the money for Canon camera and I'm trying to get a second opinions. Let me know your thoughts.

Don't know much about the GH-2, but I have worked with the GH-1 quite a bit. We filmed a 15-minute short on it and it produced very nice results. It's not going to produce footage like the 5D. If anything, from what i've seen and read about the GH2 it'd be more comparable to the T2i.

What about the 60D? Have you used it before?

yeah i've used a 60D before, personally i'm a bigger fan of the T2i.

Alright, with that in mind how do both cameras compare against the 7D?

if they do the firmware hack it should be pretty sick

they got some amazing results doing it on the gh1

it depends what you're looking to use it for. Video quality is very similar amongst the 3. 7D has the most professional layout and feel to it, I'd say 60D is most user-friendly and is the only model with an articulating screen. Like i said earlier, i personally like the t2i over the 60D, 7D is a great camera if you can afford it. Video quality of 7d compared to T2i is very similar.
