Luke nutting?

jea, hes been skiing at wp ever since i can remember, skiiled it at the uptown throwdown this year and only skiing without poles becuause he had a broken thumb
 
the kid kills it! used to ski with him every weekend a few years ago! One of the coolest kids you'll ever meet! The whole WP crew is the best bunch of kids around.
 
yea i saw him at big bear too... he had such a sick run, to bad finals didn't go that well for him. he's modest too, i rode up the lift with him and we were talkin, he's a way chill guy.
 
at first when i read the title of the thread i thought it was a video of a guy named luke nutting on a rail, guess i was wrong...
 
He's got the tricks, but not the style of tom wallisch. And if he skis at winter park i would sure hope he could rip outside of the park.
 
YEA! Luke is my boy. this kid rips it up, down, left, right, diagonally, whatever. Super solid, and humble. Not one of the "ghetto" white boys who think they from the hood. He did really well in the freesking open. Check out the name right underneath his. (he is #20)

Luke is the nicest and sickest kid ever. hes crazy steezy with or without poles. (he didnt have poles cuz he broke his wrist.) but yeah hes a baller pretty much
 
yea i rode with him a lot this year at wp. he helps you learn so much, and he's waaayy chill. Great guy. When we got stranded in WP after an avalanche he just chilled with us too. he's super humble and can't wait to hear more about him. I think he's taking a year off of school to ski. great guy.
 
Qualified 2nd.... kid destroys it and no one knows of him. If the course is good, he could show up out of nowhere.
 
luke, im gonna ski with you in march after my knee heals. this kid rips it, amazing style. quit comparing people to tom wallisch, luke is totally different rider, and is very solid.
 
yeah, super sick. I wonder how much he got made fun of in grade school and especially middle school with a last name like nutting. probably a lot.
 
me and my brothers skied with him when we were all little tots. i remember one time he stabbed my brother in the balls with his pole when he was like 7. lukes a funny guy, and a way sick skier
 
While we're all on style, and don't take this as hate, because I ski WP every spring break, so I'm stoked to see someone from there kill it on a national level... but I'm not a fan of his arms when he lands. Maybe it's just his gloves in comparison to his coat, but for some reason it looks kind of goofy when he lands.

And before the hate starts flowing back to me, I'm only nit-picking on him because, ever since T-Wall's vid hit NS, there have been hundreds of kids with the same tricks, same steeze, same promo. So I figure, if there are so many of them out there, we ought to hold them to a tough standard.
 
this tom wallisch stuff is out of control...i understand everyone idealizes him...and don't get me wrong he slayssss sooo hard and from what i saw to day he seems real nice but not everyone out there should be compared to him... we all like him cause he's unique but if everyone cops his stylee then it will be just like all this x-games bull...with that being said sorry for the rant andno hate on what you all are saying wallisch KILLS it... but luke kills it fucking hard too he just has a different style
 
Yeah, T-Wall is the fucking man, and Luke looks like he's legit sauce as well. I'm just getting tired of these requisite tricks, pretzels, octo sw 7s, steezy sw 5s, blah, blah, blah. I'm assuming that Nutting is dope across the board, so I'm stoked to see what a WP upbringing will look like on a bigger ski scene. I realize that it's just a mid-season promo, but I figured that some critiquing wouldn't be out of order.
 
Luke is the shit, but he's the big fish in the small pond @ winter park! his double front looks better than Simons and he has quite the vocabulary of tricks! It's gonna be fun to see where he goes with skiing. -- a fellow winter park rat!
 
this kid is so good. i skied all year last year at wp and couldnt beleive what he was doing. all my buddies ski with him now and he kills it in their edits.
 
LUKE NUTTING is one of my real good friends, HE is hands down the best skier out there. The only problem is he getrs no recognition. He has all for tens and maybe the sickest grabs out there. HE also is a rail jedi. he can do any pretzle you can think of. He is the nicest most down to earth kid and he deserves more than he gets. getittt
 
luke is the man, definitely mad humble and kills soooo hard, spins all 4 ways like it aint a thing. plus he has tons of unique grab and double grab combos, so dirty. and steezy ass rail skills to boot.

Hey ever one luke was pretty much my coach this year. He is amazing we ride every day even if the weather is bad. he is all ways trying to push himself and others around him. He has the most positive attitude and is a super chill kid. He trys to learn or teach some one a new trick every day and he come up with his own style and new ticks/grabs all the time it really cool.!!!!!!
