I was skiing by myself yesterday and I saw one of my friends who hadn't skied since fourth grade up there trying it out again. I had been doing the park and skiing powder all day long, so I was kinda tired so I decided to go with him on the bunny hill for a while. He had a blast and decided he wanted to keep on skiing, even though he just had a pair of old shitty salomons that were way too short for him, even though he's damn short himself. So I took him with me to one of the local ski shops, P3, for their 'twin tip weekend' with a raffle. They had Line backpacks, poster signings with Boyd Easley and Anthony Boronowski, some Siver clothing (which I won), and lots of other shit. Then they finally came to the 169 Seth Pistols with Marker bindings. And he won. It's so lucky, but so unfair at the same time. I spent my first year in the park on shitty Mad Trix that had been demoed all the previous year, and I had to work all year to finally afford PE's. And he skis once, decides to go to a raffle, and wins some of the best skis out there. Damn.

Hey man don't be jealous, you won some bad ass gear too. True you didn't get the kick ass setup, but be thankfull that your bud won. At least it wasn't some punk ass little bitch who sits at the top of the park all day talking shit and never drops in.

I'm not saying Mad Trix are shitty skis. I'm saying once they've been demoed for a long time and parts of the edges are completely chipped off and the bases have holes in them, they're shitty.

Yeah, I kinda exaggerated about the working all year for the PE's. But mommy, this kid is fucking short, the 169's are a little taller than he is.
