I might hav just become the luckiest man alive. I managed to get a season pass without doing ne work at all. My da is paying for half of it for chirstmas, and told me that i would hav to come up witht the other half of it. I hav no job, and no way to actually make money enuff to pay for the pass, so i thought for sure that my season was ruined. then one day i was talking to this girl about my season pass dilema, and i was sounding pretyyy sad, when she asked me how much money i stil needed, i told her 250. The next day she comes into school and hands me 250 dolarrs!!!!!!!!!!!! Basically one of the best days of my life. Im sooo pumped

I wouldn't have accepted it if I was in your position. If I had no girlfriend I would have accepted it but taken the girl to a movie and then back to my house. That is if she's hot.

And you should have just gotten a job. I take it you live with your parents, so they pay for everything you need (like food, clothing and shelter) so just get a job! 250$ is only about 30 hours of work at McDonalds. You can easily do that in a couple of weeks part time.

If you have any decency, you will get a job and pay the nice girl back. Maybe even take her out for a nice dinner as thanks.

Also, you're kind of a dick. I wouldn't have accepted the money. This year I worked at the mountain over the summer to get my pass (I'm 17)because I value saving money for myself and my parents who would have paid for the pass had I not worked for it. Come on dude, $250 is a lot of money, you should pay her back because she was obviously looking for something in return.
 
kids now a days cant save worth the shit. as soon as they get money they spend it. learn to save OP. and you better pay her back, thats a decent sum of money assuming you are both probably 12.

Dude. I don't know if you're complaining that it's too high or what, but 500 isn't the highest there's ever been.

college passes at most tahoe resorts are about 300 $krill units, less for small resorts, much more for places like Squaw. I believe that an unlimited pass to squaw is just around 1 Grand. Yes, that's a lot. But no, 500 isn't absurdly high. That's about how much an adult pass costs at many west coast resorts, it might even be a little low.

yes this! hate people that dont have to lift a finger for anything they get. i have to pay for everything i get, my laptop, skis, bindings, pass, all my other ski equp., car, insurrance, clothes, everything. people dont understand the value of a dollar till you actually have to work for it.
