If you don't know what lucid dreaming is: It's basically the coolest thing ever. In your dream you realize that you are dreaming which allows you to "wake" up inside of the dream and take control over, not only your actions, but over the universe in the dream as well. That means you can make things appear out of thin air.

There are a few techniques involved with triggering a lucid dream, but I don't feel like writing them all down here since there is a ton of infos on the internet about that.

I managed to realize I was dreaming a few times already but unfortunately woke up imediately afer. Last night I had a dream about mountain climbning and somehow realized I was dreaming. I sorted stepped of a cliff and started to float, tried to fly but woke up instead.

Do you guys have any experience with lucid dreams?

I want to hear about awesome shit you did in your dreams!

I used to be really into this and I was dead set on figuring out how to do it but I never had much success. I heard that you're supposed to write down all of your dreams somewhere and do a lot of reality checks when you are awake because then you'll instinctively do them while dreaming and you can start to recognize when you are dreaming, but like I said I never had success so who knows
 
I've lucid dreamed I think 2-3 times.

The best time ever, I had a dream where I was a mechwarrior piloting a battlemech into a massive war. I woke up, realized I was dreaming and then subsequently piloted said mech for the equivalent of about 20 hours.

It was unbelievable.

this sounds awesome, every time I try to go into one, I end up breaking and itching or something
 
I realize I'm dreaming all the time but don't know how to take control

Typically I can feel that I'm in bed but when I start thinking too hard I wake up

isn't there a list of drugs people take to try to achieve lucid dreams? I remember my brother talking about it. Like daiga flower and shit

I use melatonin (sp?) it's a natural sleep aid, this paired with one complete tool over in my bed and sleeping woth my left hand above my head on my pillow.

I lucid dream very often, I won't bother putting a percentage cause people probably won't believe it.

I was talking with someone at a festival about lucid dreaming and dreams in general and told her I don't remember a time when I couldn't lucid dream, or ever having a nightmare. Two nights later sleeping outside in Whistler lot 5 I had a terrifying nightmare which I wasn't able to control and ot was about snakes and hands and shit coming out of the ground.

Lucid dreaming happens to me like once a month. I always immediately fuck natalie portman wake up and have to take a shower

How does someone achieve a lucid dream, I need it for "research"
 
Make a thread and assume nobody knows about lucid dreaming, then tell us about how to do it even though you haven't succeeded.

Used to do it all the time, not so much any more now. Didn't even know it had a name until I was around high school age. Ive never really tried to make myself lucid dream but maybe I will since it's been a while.

Idk cool shit though.
