LT Thread

Today was dope at LT. Right now its looking like this up and coming thursday will be opeing day hopefully! gonna be sum good set ups opening day im stoked.
 
Sick man. Ya I watched the vid from today on the site. Do you know what they are gonna do with the powder park? I loved when the good park was set up under chair 5 because you could do a TON of hits in a day, do you think they will go back there for anything again?
 
Powder park should be a lot of fun. It will be a beginner/intermediate park, so it won't be epic, but it will have tables, boxes, poles, etc. Probably similar to the skill level of the old park on chair 5. With that said, we had to sacrifice chair 5 to the ski gods and let it go as a race course. Which is actually a good move, I think because: (A) It's pretty much perfect for a quick lap race course, and (B) I prefer to consolidate our features so the lines are longer and more diverse. Chair 5 is quick, but it's also short and uniformly steep. It would be a great place to put a HUGE double table line, but it kind of sucks for a rail garden. We're getting more and more space on south face/charlie brown every year, so I'm all for putting most of our resources into a MEGA park there. Powder Park will still be badass though, seeing how you can rage chutes/cliffs up top and hit the park below. Super fun.
 
Yeah that sounds awesome I cant wait. I heard rumors that LT was going to open this weekend. Any one know? If it is opening, what park features are you going to throw up to start the year?

 
Keep your fingers crossed for (maybe) a Saturday opening. It looks like we've got some snow coming our way with this massive arctic system. LT's got a bomber 20-inch base right now, so any new accumilation should be totally rippable. Pray for a dump on Friday.
As far as initial park lines go ... Obviously we're going to have a tough time getting any kind of legit table built with such a low snowpack, but I assume that we'll have the big step-down at the top of the park up and running. We should also have all of our boxes and rails set up. So I would look for a line with the step down and probably two lines of maybe 4 boxes/rails each.
 
ya we were seshin um last weekend fool!!!! check out the edit on the site ltpark.com anyways if they aint open by this weekend wich they should be, im calling for a massive rail/powder sesh on saturday! any one interested drop a post.
 
Rail and powder sesh at LT saturday!!! im gonna be there around 10. so yall who dont have enough money to go any where get on down to LT for some jibbin.
 
opening day tomarrow!! im gonna be hittin it up firday there callin for 2 feet of new snow by then booyahh!!! As far as opening day features its going to be mostly rails and boxes and other fantastic jibable objects! Yay!! check out www.ltpark.com for more info!

then invert rainbow or dub barrel bow to 20' flat to 20' dub barrel street steeze to 15' up

but who knows a barrelbonk a small culvert vert jib

 
Man it has been a good week up at the trail. Freshies everyday and some sketchy in bounds avalanchs that were kinda crazy. The park is super fun. right side is boxes and rails and left side is colverts. Powder park should be up and runnin soon!!!
