Lifted Research Group was founded in 1999 by Jonas Bevacqua and Robert Wright[2]. Wright brought extensive experience in the streetwear industry to L-R-G, having worked with such companies as Quiksilver, O'Neill, and Katin during an eight-year span[3]. He also contributed the resources to create the company's initial samples and patterns. Bevacqua also raised the initial startup capital from friends of his adopted father who worked in the fashion industry. This capital was used to finance an initial product run that sold out during their first day at the Action Sports Retailer Expo in San Diego, California... The company became profitable by 2002, and made its first $1 million in 2000[4].

Straight out of wikipedia.

you know how Abercrombie and Hollister and shit put random dates on their clothes? same shit.

hah well abercrombie actually originated before 1900 as mountaineering clothing for people climbed everest and shit like that.

I'd rather whear clothes from WALMART than fucking zumiez you fags. quit supporting everything that is wrong with this country!!!!!!

iono, overall, wal mart is a bigger blight on today's economy, and they have uglier clothes as well. but zumiez does cater to emos/poseurs etc

Hahahaha for sure.

Both stores suck so much fat cock it's just too much to handle.

According to my friend (C.Burn) it looks like a hihglighter threw up inside of zumiez.

coooool, though it has nothing to do with the fact that they slap random 20th century years on alot of their clothing.
