I think having a truck is fine, but lowering is just retarded. if someone were to put amps and subs in and do rims that's there business. but when it comes to changing the height of vehicles; trucks and jeeps should be raised like ppl used to in the 70s and 80s

Ok, I'm a big fan of street trucks *prepares for people to come over and beat him to death with a baseball bat* Just think about the idea for a second, I bike, and I personally hate bike racks so I need a truck. However I don't like the look of stock trucks, and prefer the look of cars, So I throw on some 20's and a body kit to make the truck look less rough and more stylin'. Plus lowering the truck gives it the handling of a car, making it alot better of a daily driver. How many people actulary take their big truckls off road? Not many, so why not make the truck suited to road driving?

five4ty's idea of lowering is different than everyone elses.....the sport truck with huge 20'' rims dropped to the ground are cool for racing and show purposes, but the fucking gay ass ones with the thirteen inch spraypainted spoke wheels that stick out two feet on each side and have wings and fins and the circus music coming out are fucking weak

lowering is definitely a bad thing, but making trucks 1-2 feet higher, now thats badass. I saw a suburban two inches off the ground at a local car show and it was pretty amazing, but I wouldn't want to ever drive that piece.

 
some trucks I can see lowering a little (only like 2 inches) - specifically if the truck has had performance modifications, and it has been lowered to improve handling. But, in general, I think trucks should be lifted. But what drive me nuts, more than lowered trucks, is seeing how the truck market has exploded, raising the proces of trucks and creating ''luxury'' trucks. What ever happened to people buying trucks for hauling and 4WD?

Trucks are meant to work, not to cruise around town as a status symbol.

a lot of people buy trucks because they like the way they look. And they function good for everything they want. My dad has an Avalanche. Does he go offroad all the time? No. That doesnt mean he should drive a station wagon.

outside of moving a full sized fridge what is the point of having an avalanche? they guzzle gas, pollute more, have large blind spots which are unsafe. what is the motivation to get one other than for status? get a more simple truck like an f-150 and raise it. save ur money dont but the escalade EXT or avalanche
