CLAIM! lol, you might be able to change the water level by turning the knob on the side of the water pipe behind the toilet that shuts the water on and off, or you could take the lid off the back of the toilet and try changing the weight of the round thing that lifts the little lid in the tank bottom so the water can flow from the tank into the bowl, or shorten the chain that pulls that lid up? Don't know if that would work, but it's all I can think of right now.

Wow, this thread takes me back.. Good times.

In case anyone was wondering, after 4 years of experimenting, a higher seat was the best solution.. I got one with a cushion built in; my life will never be the same without it.
