Low level competitions?????

Hey I'm newer to park skiing and want to get into competitons but I'd like to find something at a little lower level so I dont just get my ass handed to me and get discouraged. Any thoughts/ suggestions/ locations/ information you all have would be appreciated
 
shawnee peak super hits i think theyre every sunday at shawnee peak in maine. its free and the guy that runs it is super chill and theres usually not too many really good kids competing so if your just getting started you wont get blown away but its still fun i did them all this year and it was my first year and i liked it
 
If you want to come over to VT, Bolton Valley has rail jam/ slopestyle comps on wednesday nights. The series is called Nightriders, and it's pretty low key
 
like squirrely said, shawnees super hits is real low key, maybe 5 or 6 real good kids, and then a bunch of people who suck, so you wont look terrible
