Has anyone been up there? How's the snow pack? Me and some buddies wanted to go up this weekend and make a jump if anyone's in

Driving up it, a lot of people were skiing and riding it last weekend. It looked like decent snow. With the dump from last night it will probably be even more rideable.

shit, was it Boby brown? I think some pro was there a couple days back. if im just dumb or hallucinating I will still say that its pretty good for this time of year.

the pass was real dank today, i was taking mid thigh turns all day. the snow was pretty stable around treeline, im not sure how the ridgeline is since I didnt hike it. There was some fools not carrying avy gear but i would def recommend it

What is the appeal of skiing the pass? I always assumed the only people who skied were those who couldn't afford a pass. Is the skiing that much better than abasin or key?

Skied up there last weekend, definitely some great skiing after the storm that came through last week. Just be suuuper careful and watch for rocky areas my buddy actually broke his arm... Stay in the clear areas and it's definitely worth it though haha even my buddy said he didnt regret a thing

It's backcountry without the hiking. It's pretty much the only way to avoid crowds and ski actual pow this time of year

be careful of avy danger. There have all ready been a few skier involved slides/burials this season across the country. Even places like loveland, where tons of people ski without gear, can have gnarly slides.

Yeah, more and more snow is building up there, which means higher avy danger.
