i imagine it'll be pretty sick. they closed it a couple times this weekend. hiking will probably be pretty tough with all the new snow.

it was sweet yesterday, even at the top because there wasn't any wind crust yet. Kinda crowded for backcountry though, the good thing is its easier to hitch rides when its crowded.

ive never done the pass, i heard tons of people build nice kickers, also, does it help to have a backpack that can hold skis?

yeah a pack is nice for the initial 20/30 min hike in but after that it don't matter, there's about 5-6 kickers up now all in the prime spots so share everyoen.

I drove over the pass this past saturday, it looked pretty damn nice. I was thinking about heading up there pretty soon. But yeah, it did look crowded as hell. But if you hike far enough north along the west ridge, then you can find all the space/powder you could ever want.

yea im gonna go up the day after thanksgiving, uh, is there any avalanche danger, or what? also i saw an add, and this company was gonna sponsor someone who did a road gap on loveland pass, but too bad you hafta be a snowboarder. damn.
