Loveland or A-basin this weekend?

word, supposedly its official that loveland wont open, but dont hold me too it, freeskier says that it looks or that they had heard that a-basin had a jump on loveland...and as far as rails, loveland had a down, dfd, and up flat down box all boxes last season when they opened, and basin had like 3 flat boxes, and 1 street style down rail

Loveland is definately not opening tomorrow, which I would think makes it doubtful for the weekend. C'mon Abasin...I need to make some turns!

On their site it says that the first trail is completely done and ready to go in terms of snowmaking. I really can't see it opening though, I drove by last weekend and they had hardly any snow.

yeah, i got a call from jeff a while ago and loveland def. is not opening tomorrow, they also put up a buliten on myspace. im gonna call a basin in a bit tho and see what the deal is there. does anyone know what loveland pass is looking like up top?

i called a basin and got a recoring that says there not quite open yet, so im taking that as a no, they also have a thing on their site that says they arent opeing till the 23rd of october. i need skiing!

can you still hit the rails if they arent open at abasin/loveland? i think im heading up on friday morning. any info on what they both have? are they hikable?

dude a basin was SIIIICKK! they has three rails set up and everyone was on them, saturday is going to be disgustingly crowded, but im going again!!!!

yeah a-basin was fuckin awesome today.. not really crowded & really good vibes from everyone... probably headin up around 12-1 tomorrow

Does anyone know what will be next for A-Basin??? Will they just open more runs off of that one lift or will they puch up the mountain to the next lift? If they do not open more lifts, it is always going to be crowded until Breck and Keystone open.

a-basin is dope right now. They have a flat shotgun rail setup urban style, great for 270 on pretz and stuff. everyone was throwing down lip 2 on pretz out, 2 on pretz out, delorme and his steezy edge slide. then there is the c-box set up curving left and a flat box.

adam is my boy, and nevel was throwing 450 offs on friday, it was intense. a basin has a way better set up tho, the run is a bit shorter though. i think ill be back sunday....

yeah, the thing that got me about a basin was the vibe there...shit was so rad...the line for the rail got pretty intense at some points and the box was next to unhittable since there were about 30 people sitting over there at any time...the c box was the shit though...not to mention being able to ski a lift serviced run!!!

i was kinda bumed it was a left side c box instead of a right, i woulda hit that shit all day. im not a fan of tips down sliding.

I'm going to the basin tomorrow after my marketing research class. Should be a good time. Lots of snow all around the state today.
